Electric water heaters under load management that are associated with some form of off-peak electric heat qualify for lower electric rates. The general service rates apply. A minimum heater capacity of 50 gallons is required. Water heating is interrupted a maximum up to 6 hours a day (based on your water heater capacity) during periods of high electrical demand or during system emergencies.
