Kill A WattTM
Electricity Load Meter |
|
 |
Appliances that
are outdated or not working properly can increase your
electric bill, without you even knowing it. To evaluate the
efficiency of your home appliances, you may want to use a
Kill A Watt electricity load meter and monitor.
It’s simple to use. Plug your appliance into the meter and
the meter into the wall outlet. The device will count the
kilowatt-hour (kWh) consumption of the attached appliance.
|
|
Once you know
the kWh usage, it’s easy to calculate your electrical
expenses by the day, week or month. Simply multiply the kWh
use by the current retail rate per kWh. |

PPCS offers the
Kill A Watt load meter on loan to cooperative members free
