Load Management
Electric Thermal Storage (ETS) Room and Central Heating Units
A rebate of $20 per kW toward room or central heating units is available
after the units have been installed and are connected to PPCS' load management system.
Rebate on central units will not exceed member's contribution.
Proof of purchase is required.
Electric Water Heating
A rebate is available for electric water heaters of 80 gallons
or larger that are connected to PPCS' load management system. The
rebate applies to the installation of a new electric water heater or the
replacement of an existing one. The water heater can be purchased
from PPCS or any vendor. PPCS promotes only high efficiency water
heaters with first-rate warranties. Proof of purchase is required.

Repairs are provided on any electric water heater at the member's expense based on the current
service call rate.
Central
Air Conditioning
Cash rebates are available for central air conditioners based on seasonal energy
efficiency rating (SEER) and size after the units have been installed
and are connected to PPCS' load management system. Under the load
management program, PPCS will cycle your air conditioner (ON 15 minutes
and OFF 15 minutes per hour) during peak demand periods. Proof of
purchase is required.
SEER 14 A/C or higher..........................$60/ton
(1 Ton = 12,000 Btus)
Commercial Units: SEER 11 or higher ....$40/ton
Heat Pumps
Cash rebates are available for heat pumps based on seasonal energy
efficiency rating (SEER) and size after the units have been installed
and are connected to PPCS’ load management system. Proof of
purchase is required.
Ground-Source heat pumps .....................$200/ton
Air-Source heat pumps ...........................$60/ton with SEER 14 or
higher
Energy Efficient Retrofit Lighting
Cash rebates are
available for agricultural, commercial or industrial energy efficient
retrofit lighting.
